Lawton Reprographics Celebrates 40 Years of Service in North Texas As A Family-Owned Leader in Printing and Graphic Innovation

DALLAS, TX, May 13, 2024
Lawton Printing and Graphics, a premier provider of printing and graphic solutions in North Texas, proudly announces its 40th year in business.
In 1984, Bill Lawton, Barbara Lawton, and Barbara’s son, Greg Howard, founded the company—originally called Lawton Reprographic Centers—to serve architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) firms. “In the beginning, we were primarily serving AEC companies,” said Greg Howard, owner and co-founder of Lawton. “We provided traditional reprographic printing for large-format technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans. Although much has changed over the last 40 years, we have diversified our offerings in step with the metroplex’s growth. Today, we offer a broad range of printing products for tech firms, manufacturing, banking, sports teams, and higher education—while still maintaining our strong AEC focus.”
Customer Endorsements
“I think we’ve been using Lawton’s services for at least thirty years,” said Mike Meinhardt, owner of Dallas-based Meinhardt & Associates – Architects. “They are always fast, convenient, and efficient. Furthermore, the Lawton team consistently helps us find the right solutions for our more challenging problems. I trust we will continue our relationship for many years.”
“We first started working with Lawton in 2002,” added Paul Leininger, creative director for Ribbon Communications (https://ribboncommunications.com/). “It began with a corporate brochure, and two decades later, Lawton remains a trusted partner. They have provided us with trade show booths, monument and building signage, corporate displays, wall and window graphics, and countless printed materials for user groups, sales meetings, and more.”
40 Years of Growth in a Changing Industry
Over the past four decades, the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) region has more than doubled in size, exceeding eight million residents. Meanwhile, printing companies—including Lawton—have evolved alongside demographic and technological shifts. In earlier years, offset and lithographic presses dominated. However, high-speed digital presses now enable cost-effective short-run printing and personalized content. Consequently, Lawton has remained at the forefront of these changes, expanding its services as the metroplex’s needs continue to diversify.
