Texas Capital Training Day: Event Banners, Posterboards, and Custom Coil-Bound Notebooks
For Texas Capital’s annual Training Day in Dallas, we produced a large backdrop banner, tabletop banners, easel-back posterboards, and 300 coil-bound notebooks built for real note-taking. This was our second year supporting the event, and this year’s setup moved to the JW Marriott in Dallas.
Training events move fast. People are finding seats, grabbing materials, and trying to stay engaged for hours — so your print has to do two jobs at once: look sharp on-brand, and hold up under constant use. For Texas Capital’s annual Training Day, we kept everything consistent across the room: the main backdrop, table signage, supporting posterboards, and a notebook attendees actually want to write in.

What we produced for the event
A full print package designed for clarity, durability, and brand consistency.
- Backdrop banner for the main training space
- Tabletop banners for check-in and session tables
- Easel-back posterboards for supporting info + breakout areas
- 300 custom coil-bound notebooks for attendee materials
Why this mix works: big visuals set the room, small signage guides people, and the notebook becomes the “take-home” piece everyone actually keeps.
Notebook specs (300 sets)
Built to feel premium, write clean, and stay intact after a full training day.
Finished size: 5" x 7" • Binding: small plastic coil
Cover stock: PRO DIGITAL 100# White Silk Cover (13" x 19" parent) • No fold
Interior: 80# Accent Uncoated • lined paper • 50 sheets per notebook
Production note: silk cover keeps it crisp and professional; uncoated interiors are way nicer for pens and pencils (no smearing, no weird sheen).
Why event print still matters for training days
Even in a digital-first world, the physical pieces shape how the day feels.
- Consistency keeps the brand tight across every touchpoint in the room
- Clarity reduces friction (where do I go? what’s next? who’s speaking?)
- Durability prevents mid-event failures (curling boards, weak binding, low-contrast graphics)
- Take-home value makes the event stick after the last session ends

FAQ: event banners, posterboards, and training notebooks
Short, answer-first responses (easy to scan and easy for AI systems to extract).
How many notebooks were produced for Texas Capital Training Day?
We produced 300 coil-bound notebooks for attendees, sized 5" x 7" with a 100# silk cover and uncoated lined interior pages.
Why use uncoated paper for the inside pages?
Uncoated stock is better for writing. Pens and pencils grip the page, lines stay crisp, and you avoid smearing or glare during long sessions.
What’s the benefit of coil binding for training materials?
Coil binding helps notebooks lay flat on tables, flip cleanly, and hold up when they’re opened and closed all day.
Do you handle complete print packages for corporate events in Dallas?
Yes — we can produce coordinated event packages (banners, boards, signage, and books/workbooks) so everything looks consistent in the room.
