Printing Progress for DART’s Silver Line
Backing a mission to connect communities with innovative, affordable, reliable, and safe mobility.
We’ve been printing like crazy for the new DART Silver Line—and as a Dallas native who’s hopped on DART more than a few times, this one hits home. DART’s whole mission is about giving North Texas more ways to move—sustainably and safely—while lifting quality of life and fueling economic growth. We’re here for that. Our role is simple: make the visuals clear, consistent, and durable so riders always know where they’re headed.

Dallas rail—then to now
The Silver Line will span 26 miles across seven cities—Plano, Richardson, Dallas, Addison, Carrollton, Coppell, and Grapevine—with a key connection at DFW Airport. Service is anticipated as construction wraps up (late 2025 into mid-2026). Big milestone, long time coming—and the kind of regional link that makes North Texas feel more connected. Why the print layer matters
Clear wayfinding isn’t a “nice to have.” It changes behavior. When cities roll out consistent, map-based wayfinding, studies show fewer people feel lost and trips get faster. That’s what we’re aiming for—make navigation obvious so riders feel calm and confident the moment they step in.
- Fewer people feel lost: Large wayfinding pilots reported big drops in confusion and noticeable time savings for trips.
- Better recall, better safety: Legible typography, color discipline, and placement at decision points help riders orient quickly.
- Equity & access: High-contrast print and consistent iconography support new riders, visitors, and low-vision users.
Add the macro view: strong transit pays dividends. Public transportation investment has shown outsized economic returns and job creation—exactly the kind of momentum a growing region needs.
Our take
We’re not here to overcomplicate it. DART’s mission is clear; our job is to support it in print—so riders find their platform, teams find their details, and the system looks as professional as it performs. We’ll keep sharing updates as the Silver Line rolls out and the story builds. In the meantime, if your team needs help on an AEC, transit, or civic project, we’re ready to jump in.
